ROBERT KOCHARIAN APPOINTS JUDGES OF RA COURTS OF APPEAL AND GENERAL JURISDICTION

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 10, NOYAN TAPAN. Robert Kocharian, the President
of the Republic of Armenia, has signed a decree on December 7
on appointing judges of RA Court of Appeal and Court of General
Jurisdiction.
Masis Rehanian has been appointed judge of the Criminal Court of
Appeal of the Republic of Armenia, stopping his competences of the
judge of the Court of First Instance of the Arabkir and Kanaker-Zeytun
communities of Yerevan.
Ruben Apinian and Armen Khachatrian have been appointed judges of
the Court of General Jurisdiction of the Kentron and Nork-Marash
communities of the city of Yerevan, by stopping their competences,
correspondingly, of the judge of the Criminal Court of Appeal of the
Republic of Armenia, and the judge of the Court of First Instance of
the region Tavush.
Alexander Merangulian has been appointed judge of the Court of General
Jurisdiction of the Erebuni and Nubarashen communities of Yerevan,
stopping his competences of the judge of the Court of First Instance
of the Gegharkunik region.
Hovhannes Melkonian has been appointed judge of the Court of General
Jurisdiction of the Armavir region, stopping his competences of the
judge of the Court of First Instance of the Shirak region.
Vladimir Aslanian has been appointed judge of the Court of General
Jurisdiction of the Aragatsotn region, stopping his competences as
the judge of the Economic Court of the Republic of Armenia.
According to the information provided to Noyan Tapan by the RA
President’s Press Office, the decree comes into force since January
1, 2008.
