NKR PROCURATOR GENERAL: CONSTITUTION BECAME VISIT CARD BY WHICH NKR PRESENTS ITSELF TO INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY

December 10 the first anniversary of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic’s
Constitution, adopted at a nation-wide referendum with the
participation of international observers, was celebrated in
Nagorno-Karabakh.
In connection with this date a ‘~Rround table’~R on the subject
‘~RNKR Constitution’s Influence on Public-Political Life’~R was
held at the NKR National Assembly, DE FACTO own correspondent in
Stepanakert reports.
NKR Procurator General Armen Zalinian, who had headed Constitution
Commission’s Working Group at one time, noted, ‘~Radopting the
Constitution we really became a valuable state having all attributes
of statehood; from this viewpoint the country’s Basic law actually
became the principal visit card, by means of which Nagorno-Karabakh
Republic presents itself to the international community’~R.
The participants of the ‘~Rround table’~R noted important significance
of the Constitution and key role it played in the country’s public
life.
