GOVERNMENT APPROVES DRAFT DECISION ON ESTABLISHING TECHNICAL REGULATIONS OF REQUIREMENTS ON JUICES AND JUICE PRODUCTS

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 13, NOYAN TAPAN. At the December 13 sitting, the
Armenian government approved the draft decision on establishing the
technical regulations of reguirements on juices and juice products.
The RA deputy minister of trade and economic development Garnik
Badalian stated after the sitting that the technical regulations
define the contents of juices and juice products, and technical
requirements on them. Baby food will have marking about what cannot
be used in the given foodstuff.
G. Badalian said that the technical regulations apply to tomato mash,
tomato paste, tomato juice with dissoluble dry sustances of 7% and
over, fruit mashes, fruit and vegetable juices, and drinks containing
fruit and vegetable nectars and juices.
