VLADIMIR KARAPETYAN: WE ARE LOYAL TO DIALOGUE AND PEACE

We would like to know the official position of the Armenian Ministry
of Foreign Affairs on the conduct of the week of Azerbaijan in Armenia,
APA asked RA MFA Spokesman Vladimir Karapetyan.

"We are positively disposed towards any initiative aimed at
launching dialogue in the South Caucasus. We think this initiative
is a vivid proof of our loyalty to dialogue and peace, something our
Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian said in Madrin in an interview with
APA. Such arrangements, which are not an end in itself, must have
their continuation in all countries involved in the program. Through
public diplomacy and social contacts it is possible to promote the
peace talks on the Karabakh issue," Vladimir Karapetyan said.
