AZERBAIJANI DAYS TO BE HELD IN MKHITAR SEBASTATSI EDUCATIONAL COMPLEX

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 17, NOYAN TAPAN. Azerbaijani days will be held in
the Mkitar Sebastatsi Educational Complex of Yerevan between 17-20 with
the assistance of the Embassy of the Great Britain in the Republic of
Armenia within the frameworks of the "Armenia – Azerbaijan – Turkey:
a step towards a dialogue" program. The event will be attended by
Jiansha Omarov, the Chairman of the Mingechaur center of the Human
Rights Defender, Khamis Masimov, the coordinator of the Gazakh –
Aghstafa Regional Division of the National Committee of the Helsinki
Civil Assembly, Sahib Babaev, the coordinator of the Ganja Regional
Division of the National Committee of the Helsinki Civil Assembly,
writer and publicist Seymour Baijan, Rauf Rajabov, an analyst and
the editor-in-chief of the "3rd point of view" periodical, and Afet
Sariyev, the Chairman of the "Agreement" non-governmental organization.

The opening of the educational-research camp of the college of
the Educational Complex and the School of Defender of Rights, the
the handing of nominal prizes to the winners of the competition of
composition, placard and drawing announced in the Educational Complex
will be held on December 17.

The competition was held on the following subjects: "An open letter to
my Azeri friend of the same age," "My idea of Azerbaijan," "Armenia –
Azerbaijan: which is our future," and "Azerbaijan."

Ashot Bleyan, the Head of the Educational Complex, will deliver
a report on "The role of general education in the context of the
Armenian-Azeri confrontation overcoming" subject on the same day.

And on December 18 the starting course of the School of Defender of
Rights will be conducted by J. Omarov and Georgi Vanian.
