INTERNATIONAL TENDER FOR SELECTING ARMENIAN RAILWAY’S CONCESSION MANAGER TO BE HELD ON DECEMBER 21: ONLY "RUSSIAN RAILWAY" SUBMITS PARTICIPATION BID

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 17, NOYAN TAPAN. The international tender for
selecting the concession manager of the Armenian railway will be held
on December 21.

NT was informed by a reliable source that only one company – Russian
Railway has sibmitted a bid for participation in the render.

The manager has to make invtestments of about 170 million dollars. The
World Bank Regional Vice President for Europe and Central Asia Shigeo
Katsu recently expressed regret about the fact that only company is
participating in the tender.
