During the meeting of parliament on December 19 Member of Parliament
Gegham Baghdasaryan highlighted a dangerous tendency. He said the
budget bill 2008 contains a number of positive tendencies, namely
relieving social problems.
At the same time, he underlined that the public administration is
exaggerated.
"The public administration is being more exaggerated, threatening
the entire body. It would be more logical and useful to optimize
the existing administration, which is not quite efficient now,"
the member of parliament said.
"This dangerous tendency has appeared earlier but it starts causing
worry. Something incredible is happening. The country is turning into
public administration with its service personnel – people. Meanwhile,
it should the opposite. The economy must develop, the quality of
life should improve, enabling people to afford to sustain public
administration. Meanwhile, public administration is sustaining
people. By exaggerating public administration, I am sorry for the
comparison, we resemble a rachitic body, which cannot be healthy. Such
a consumer body can absorb like a sponge all healthy tendencies,"
Gegham Baghdasaryan said.
