Two observers from Armenia in Georgian presidential elections

TWO OBSERVERS FROM ARMENIA IN GEORGIAN PRESIDENTIAL
ELECTIONS

In 5 January 2008 there will be presidential elections
in Georgia and two Armenian observers will carry out
their observation there. According to Tatevik Ohanyan,
the press secretary of the Central Electoral
Committee, Atom Mkhitaryan from CEC is invited by OSCE
to carry out observation mission in Georgian
presidential elections.

And according to the public relations department of
the National Assembly, Deputy Vladimir Badalyan will
carry out his observation mission in the Georgian
presidential elections as a representative of Armenian
National Assembly. Note that Vladimir Badalyan is the
president of Armenian-Georgian business collaboration
association.

Note that the following candidates are nominated in
the Georgian presidential elections: former president
Mikhail Sahakashvili, Levan Gachechiladze from
opposition, Shalva Natelashvili, David Gamkrelidze,
Gia Maisashvili and Iraina Sarishvili.
