Kocharian: Armenian-Bulgarian Relations Have Rather Good Bases

ROBERT KOCHARIAN: ARMENIAN-BULGARIAN RELATIONS HAVE RATHER GOOD BASES

YEREVAN, JANUARY 15, NOYAN TAPAN. On January 15, Thodor Marinov
Staikov, the newly appointed Ambassador of Bulgaria to Armenia, handed
his credentials to RA President Robert Kocharian. During the
conversation held after the ceremony, R. Kocharian said that
Armenian-Bulgarian relations bave good bases, which is a good
precondition for the new Ambassador to continue the cooperation with
his active work.

As NT was informed by the RA President’s Press Office, the Bulgarian
Ambassador assured that he is ready to aim his efforts at development
of Armenian-Bulgarian relations.

From: Emil Lazarian | Ararat NewsPress

Emil Lazarian: “I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
