REPAIR OF REPUBLICAN STADIUM AFTER VAZGEN SARGSYAN IN YEREVAN STARTED

ArmInfo. The repair work of the Republican stadium after Vazgen
Sargsyan in Yerevan started.

As the Football Federation of Armenia told ArmInfo, the FFA signed
an Agreement with the "Green Diversified" Ltd Israeli Company, which
will coordinate the stadium repair work to bring it into line with
the international standards. It is also envisaged to repair the
VIP-lodges, security systems, the stadium entries and exits will
be improved. Moreover, the FFA is presently holding negotiations
with a number of international organizations for installation of a
new lighting system at the stadium. It is scheduled to complete the
stadium repair work at late August, 2008, i.e. by the beginning of
the eliminatory cycle of the World Championship 2010.
