ROSTIK’S-KFC OPENS RESTAURANT IN ARMENIA

The Rostik’s-KFC fast food chain has opened its first restaurant in
Armenia, the company said in a press release.

A fast-food restaurant with 250 square meters of floor space was
opened in Yerevan. The company plans to open another three in Yerevan
in 2008. The average bill at the Yerevan Rostik-s-KFC is expected to
total around $5.

"Yerevan and Armenia is an appealing region for major restaurant
business players," the release cites Rostik’s-KFC President Henrik
Winther as saying.

The Rostik’s-KFC brand has been developed by Rostik Group in Russia
and the CIS in strategic partnership with U.S. company Yum!Brands!
since 2005. The Rostik-s-KFC chain has 137 companies, 86 of which work
as franchises. The chain’s turnover totaled over $100 million in 2006.

There are restaurants in Moscow, Serpukhov, Tver, Kaluga, Novosibirsk,
Omsk, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Surgut, Yekaterinburg, Nizhny Novgorod,
Samara, Perm, Izhevsk, Tyumen, Krasnodar, Samara and Almaty.

Yum!Brands! manages around 34,000 restaurants in over 100 countries.
The company owns brands such as KFC, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, A&W and
Long John Silver’s. The company opened three restaurants daily outside
the United States in 2007.
