NEW POWER UNIT RECONSTRUCTION STARTS IN 2010

Today Prime Minister Serzh Sargsyan met with people from Metsamor
and announced that the technical-economic reports of the new power
unit will be prepared for September. "We found 5 million dollars. And
we’ll have the reports of the new power unit in September. There is
an investor who is ready to invest a good deal of money in it. This
new block will create new working places for the people of the region
and the republic also," said Sargsyan.
"We should take care of the energetic security and invest more money
in it every year. So we should keep working and improving," said the
Prime Minister.
Sargsyan continued that the power unit has many possibilities and
they should be used.
The presidential candidate said that other candidates give promises,
but people have chance to compare who gives promises, what promises
are those and which steps predict the start of serious work.
Serzh Sargsyan reminded that the Republican Party promised to raise
the pension by 50% during the parliamentary elections, but the pensions
were raised by 60%. They also raised the salaries and social expenses.
