SERZH SARGSYAN: WE MUST DEFEAT THE COUNTRY’S INTERNAL ENEMY-25 % POVERTY

RA Prime Minister, Leader of Republican Party of Armenia (RPA),
presidential candidate Serzh Sargsyan said when making a speech in
Armavir town, Armavir region, Tuesday.
According to the prime minister, in 2010 poverty in Armenia will make
up 10 %. "It is possible to overcome poverty only by way of diligent
and serious work. Work must be the main source for the nation’s
enrichment, and the state is obliged to ensure work places for the
population", he emphasized. Serzh Sargsyan also said that during
the passed parliamentary election RPA promised to increase pensions
by 50% and raised them by 60%. This is evidence that RPA keeps its
promises. "I promise that after February 19 I’ll work in the same
style I have worked after parliamentary election", Serzh Sargsyan said.
