Newly Appointed Ambassador Of Iri Hands His Credentials To RA Presid

NEWLY APPOINTED AMBASSADOR OF IRI HANDS HIS CREDENTIALS TO RA PRESIDENT

YEREVAN, JANUARY 31, NOYAN TAPAN. Seid Ali Saghaian, the newly
appointed Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran, on January 29,
handed his credentials to RA President Robert Kocharian. Congratulating
the diplomat on the occasion of assuming his post, the RA President
estimated Armenian-Iranian relations as excellent and said that
the newly appointed Ambassador has received a very good heritage in
that respect.

According to R. Kocharian, the bilateral cooperation was efficient
especially in the past years and is developing dynamically. Emphasizing
Armenia’s resolution to strengthen and deepen the bilateral contacts
with Iran for even more, the RA President expressed confidence that
the newly outlined cooperation programs will be also implemented
successfully.

According to the report provided to Noyan Tapan by the RA President’s
Press Office, the IRI Ambassador also expressed satisfaction with the
active cooperation between Armenia and Iran. He assured that he will
spare no efforts to expand the bilateral contacts.
