One Of Convicts, Who Went On Hunger-Strike, Stops It

ONE OF CONVICTS, WHO WENT ON HUNGER-STRIKE, STOPS IT

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 5, NOYAN TAPAN. One of the convicts, who went on
hunger-strike in the imprisonment place, Hayk Torosian, stopped the
hunger-strike on February 5. Noyan Tapan correspondent was informed
about it by Arsen Babayan, the Spokesperson of the Penitentiary
Department of the RA Ministry of Justice. The other three convicts,
Emil Chivtchian, Artur Kocharian, and Georgy Khanamirian continue
the hunger-strike, their health condition, according to A. Babayan,
is normal, they are under permanent medical control.

It should be mentioned that four persons sentenced to life imprisonment
for committing murders during the military service in 2003-2005, went
on hunger-strike on January 29 demanding a milder punishment to them.
