1.6 BILLION TO SUBSIDIZE AGRICULTURE

This year 1.6 billion drams were disposed from the state budget to
subsidize the agriculture. According to Garnik Petrosyan of the
Ministry of Agriculture 50 thousands hectare territories need to
be cultivated.
He said that the regions are not selected yet.
"Whereas the same regions Aragatsotn and Gegharkunik will get
subsidy again as they are the most important centers in Armenia to
be cultivated," he said.
According to the head of the department 35 thousands drams should
be provided for each hectare. He said that people from villages get
money from the state fro cultivating 7 hectares.
He said that there will be no differentiation among the people from
the villages, those who present application they will get.
