OSCE LONG-TERM OBSERVATION MISSION IS GOING TO CONDUCT OWN INVESTIGATION IN ARTASHAT

ArmInfo. The OSCE long-term observation mission is going to conduct
own investigation of the incident that took place in Artashat,
Ararat region, on Feb 6, the head of the mission Gert Arens said in
an interview to Radio Liberty.

To remind, a fight took place during the Feb 6 meeting of
supporters of the first president of Armenia Levon Ter-Petrossyan
in Artashat. The police have instituted legal proceedings and have
started investigation.

When asked to comment on the present electoral campaign in Armenia
Arens said that he had seen more shameful campaigns. Arens said
that the mission was going to formulate its remarks in the second
interim report.
