YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 15, NOYAN TAPAN. Ara Gevorgian is going to present
his song "Love Each Other" to the Grammy awards in the autumn of
2008. The composer said at the February 15 press conference that the
text of the song (written by Finnish singer Inka) will be translated
into nearly 20 languages and the song will be performed by singers
of various nationalities.

Besides, according to A. Gevorgian, a 8 minute 40 second instrumental
composition "Love Each Other" will be released in the U.S. this
year. Famous musicians will take part and musical instruments
of various nations will be used in recording this song. "This is
an appeal to humanity to be tolerant and live in solidarity," Ara
Gevorgian stated, adding that three video clips have been shot based
on this composition. In his words, it is envisaged to spread discs
with this musical composition throughout the world. He said that he
will present a disc to the United Nations – with the Armenian people’s
appeal for solidarity among the peoples of the world.

Emil Lazarian: “I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
