SERZH SARGSYAN ATTACHES IMPORTANCE TO EDUCATION AND FINANCIAL SECTOR

"In January, 2008 we have collected as much tax as in 1995 in the
course of the whole year. They say they can collect more. If they
could, why they did not," presidential candidate Serzh Sargsyan told
residents of Marmarashen village at Ararat region. He reminded that
this year 5 big banks started work in Armenia and that Armenia may
become a financial center for the region. "If our businessmen were
a little fair, they must say that the financial sector is being
established in the country," Serzh Sargsyan mentioned.
In his speech Sargsyan attached importance to education mentioning
that this year 3 percent of GDP is allocated to education from the
state budget. Serzh Sargsyan mentioned that without knowledge, schools
and youth it is not possible to build a prosperous country since,
as he mentioned, without that success is failed in today’s world.
