41 THOUSAND ARMENIAN LITERATURE BOOKS TO BE PROVIDED
TO SCHOOLS IN DIASPORA
This year the ministry of education and science will
provide 41 thousand books to the Armenian schools in
Diaspora, education ministry Diaspora relations
department chief specialist, Tamara Zalinyan, told
Panorama.am.
He mentioned an educational package is planned to be
developed within Armenian as a Second Language
program. The package will include the ABC book, tapes,
student copy books, teacher manual, supplementary
materials as well as pre -school educational
materials. The development works have already started.
The chief specialist informed that 70 million drams
were allocated from the state budget to provide books
and develop the package. Last year 60,000 102 name
books were provided to the schools in the Armenian
communities.
