FIRST ISSUE OF "HRAPARAK" DAILY TO BE PUBLISHED

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 16, NOYAN TAPAN. The first issue of "Hraparak"
independent daily will be published on February 16. Its editor-in-chief
Armine Ohanian told NT correspondent that Armenia’s political life will
be in the center of attention, and the first issue of the newspaper
will be amlost completely dedicated to the presidential elections to be
held on February 19. According to A. Ohanian, "Hraparak" will also
address cultural, sport, social, economic and international policy
sujects. 8-page "Hraparak" will come out 5 days a week.

Armine Ohanian was the editor-in-chief of the daily "Zhamanak Yerevan"
before January 2008. A number of employees of the editorial staff of
"Zhamanak Yerevan" have also transferred to "Hraparak".
