ArmInfo. Together with our people we will struggle for the prosperity
of Armenia and will win, the leader of the Republican Party of Armenia,
prime minister, presidential candidate Serzh Sargsyan said today during
a meeting with voters in Abovyan, Kotayk region. He urged the people to
join him in his fight against general indifference in the country. "I
urge you not to let some people to devaluate our achievements, even if
they are modest. We have lots of supporters in this struggle," Sargsyan
said. He pointed out that the number of his supporters was steadily
growing. "This is not only a stimulus, this is big responsibility for
me," Sargsyan said. "However, there are people who are trying to split
our society into "ours" and "others." Some people accuse me of being a
native of Karabakh. I am proud of being born in Karabakh but I am also
proud of being an Armenian and of having served to my country for many
years," Sargsyan said. "There are people who say that they have already
won. I am not saying a such thing. For me, victory is something
different. For them, it may be the fight for the 2nd-5th places,"
Sargsyan said.
