GENERAL PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE OF ARMENIA INITIATED 7 CRIMINAL CASES ON FACTS OF ELECTORAL VIOLATIONS

Yerevan /Mediamax/. General Prosecutor’s Office of Armenia initiated
7 criminal cases on facts of violations, which have taken place on
the day of presidential elections of February 19.

As the Deputy Prosecutor General of Armenia Aram Tamazian stated at
a news conference in Yerevan today, criminal case, in particular, is
initiated on the fact hindering the work of three MPs from "Heritage"
faction and the journalist of "Haykakan Zhamanak" Lusine Barseghian
at the polling station.

Deputy Head of the Armenian Police Ararat Mahtesian stated that on
the day of elections the Police received 30 alarms on violations,
to which it operatively reacted.
