Hovhannesian: I would like our people to say they finally had fair election

Yerevan (Yerkir) – Armenian presidential candidate Vahan Hovhannesian, a
member of the ARF Bureau, voted in victorious mood in the capital’s 10/07
polling station.

After casting his vote, Hovhannesian told journalists that he expects fair
election. Otherwise, he said, and if he has solid proof of fraud, he will
turn to court. He did not make any predictions, saying it depends on people
if he can make it to the second round. "I would like our people to have an
opportunity to say there was a fair election. If the person elected is not
who they wanted to see elected, they could feel satisfied that the election
was fair, for once," he said.
