Prices of real estate soar

According to the information of the State Committee of Real Estate
Cadastre, in the fourth quarter of 2007 457 acts of registration of
property right were made on purchase and sale of real estate. The
number of acts has gone up by 12.8 percent compared with the third
quarter and by 68.6 percent compared with the same period in 2006. 114
deals are on apartments, 77 detached houses and 201 land

It turns out that an apartment in Stepanakert costs an average 524
dollars per square meter, which is up by 3.8 percent compared with the
third quarter. In Martuni 132,25 dollars (up by 2,5%), in Askeran 131
dollars (2,7%), in Shushi 95,5 dollars (5,5%), in Hadrut 78 dollars
(2%), in Martakert 65 dollars (2,4%).
