Today the Republican Party announced a message. It is particularly
mentioned:
"Serzh Sargsyan is elected as the president of the Republic
of Armenia. Armenians elected democratic and social-economic
development. Serzh Sargsyan is elected by the majority of
voices-52.86%. Armenian elections held free and fair in line with
the international standards and were observed by the OSCE, Council
of Europe and European Assembly observers."
Serzh Sargsyan said that the nation chose powerful and economically
strong future for Armenia. "I am proud of getting the trust of our
nation. I appreciate all those who voted for me. As I said before the
elections, I am going to be the president of all Armenians. Today we
can celebrate the victory of democracy but tomorrow we should start
new work."
As for the activities held by some oppositional forces, Sargsyan
said that independence and freedom of expression is not forbidden in
democratic country but instability and terror not.
