KARABAKH HAS MORE SERIOUS GROUNDS FOR RECOGNITION BY INTERNATIONAL
COMMUNITY
YEREVAN, 20.02.08. The Chair of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic
Parliament Ashot Gulian stated the NKR had repeatedly expressed its
readiness to discuss issues with Azerbaijan at the negotiating table,
however, it had not seen the adequate attitude of Baku. Ashot Gulian
made the statement while addressing the audience in the course of a
solemn meeting on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Artsakh
national-liberation movement.
Ashot Gulian noted that to solve the problems analogous with the
Nagorno-Karabakh issue the U. N. and other international
organizations spend astronomic sums. ?We solved the issue exclusively
by our own forces, with the help of our efficient state system, so we
have more serious grounds for recognition by the international
community than any other formation striving for independence?, the
NKR Parliament head stated.
