Up to 12,000 people rally in support of Ter-Petrosian in Yerevan

YEREVAN Feb 20

The number of participants in a demonstration backing losing
presidential candidate Ter-Petrosian in Yerevan did not exceed
12,000, Armenian law enforcement agencies said.

"The numbers at the rally held in Yerevan did not exceed 10-12,000,"
a source in law enforcement agencies told Interfax.

The rally was organized by supporters of candidate Ter-Petrosian.

They demanded a revision of the results of the presidential election,
which Ter-Petrosian appears to have lost.
