The Armenian National Security Service has warned supporters of
former president Levon Ter-Petrossian, who are holding protests on
Independence Square in Yerevan, that they may be held responsible.
"Two employees of the National Security Service were seized by
participants in the illegal rally late on Wednesday night. The
protesters claimed that the agents were provocateurs. They were
eventually released," says a service report received by Interfax
on Thursday.
"We are warning hotheads that any attempt to impede actions of agents
in the line of duty will be strictly punished by law," the report says.
