ArmInfo. At 05:00 PM supporters of Levon Ter-Petrossyan started
spontaneous rally near Alexander Miasnikyan Monument.
Several tens of thousands of people have already gathered in the area
near the Municipality and the embassies of France and Italy and their
number of steadily growing.

Pashinyan has formulated two key tasks for the moment: to gather as
many people as possible so as to ensure their security and to build
barricades all round the area. "One of our priority tasks after the
illegal actions of the Police is to determine the place where people
will gather now. Levon Ter-Petrossyan made a decision to hold the
rally right here", Nikol Pashinyan said.
Leader of the oppositional Republic party Aram Sargsyan stressed:
"all of us are Levon Ter-Petrossyan’s soldiers and we should carry
out his order – to stand here".
The oppositionists state that presidential candidate Levon
Ter-Petrossyan is under house arrest and they demand that their
leader be released. The oppositionists also said that they have no
information about victims of the law-enforcers’ operations. They
expressed hope that there will be no such information.
