DANIEL FRID AND MATTHEW BRYZA EXPRESS HOPE THAT HOME POLITICAL SITUATION OF ARMENIA TO BE SETTLED BY WAY OF AVOIDING ACTS OF VIOLENCE

YEREVAN, MARCH 3, NOYAN TAPAN. On March 1 Serge Sargsian, the Prime
Minister of the Republic of Armenia, had telephone conversations
with Daniel Frid, the Assistant Secretary for the Bureau of European
and Eurasian Affairs, and his assistant Matthew Bryza, the American
Co-Chairman of the OSCE MInsk Group. This information was provided
to Noyan Tapan by the Information and Public Relations Department of
the RA Government.
Both Mr. Frid and Mr. Bryza expressed hope that the home political
situation created in Armenia will be settled by way of political
dialogue and avoiding acts of violence. Frid and Bryza also expressed
hope that the authorities of Armenia will manage to quickly restore
the stability and public order of the country.
Prime Minister Serge Sargsian assured the interlocutors that the
RA government will do its best to avoid acts of violence and in
the direction of restoring the public order and stability of the
country. The Prime Minister also thanked the American associates for
their support.
