Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenian President Robert Kocharian roughly
criticized today the Ombudsman Armen Harutiunian, accusing him of
"being uninformed" and of absence of "sense of responsibility".

Mediamax reports that the Armenian President said this, commenting on
yesterday’s statement of the Ombudsman, which particularly read about
the excessive use of force from the part of the Police on March 1.

"If the Ombudsman had information, he would know that the unrest and
the collisions with Police took place a kilometer away from the place,
where the so-called rally was held. What rally dispersal is he talking
about? He does not know what he is saying", Robert Kocharian stated.

"It is obvious that the nomination of this candidature for the
position of Ombudsman was not one of my best personnel decisions",
Armenian President stated.
