SHOOTINGS GO ON

In the border line of the NKR and Azerbaijan as well as Armenia and
Azerbaijan the soldiers still keep shooting, said Tigran Balayan the
spokesman of the Foreign Affairs Ministry in a meeting held today. He
added that it should worry both sides.

Balayan mentioned that the other day Oskanyan talked with the OSCE
Minsk Group American co-chairman Mathew Bryza and the OSCE on going
president’s special envoy Angei Casprchik and informed them about the
current situation. "It is planned that Bryza might arrive in Armenia
on Thursday and the negotiations should go on," said Balayan.

As for the shootings held in Levonarkh village in Martakert region,
Balayan said that the situation is quite stable at the moment. He
added that the Azeri side spread wrong information as if there were
12 murdered soldiers. "We have only one injured, but Azeri side has
8 murdered," he said. Balayan notified that they managed to take
seven dead bodies, but the one remained in Nagorno Karabakh military
position.

They plan to start the negotiations to hand the body of dead soldier.
