Crisis monitoring postponed through Azerbaijan’s fault

07.03.2008 13:47 GMT+04:00

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ In connection with Azerbaijan’s
delay of response on security guarantee for the OSCE
monitoring group members, a March 7 crisis monitoring
on the contact line of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic
and Azerbaijani armed forces near the settlement of
Levonarkh, where the Azerbaijani side violated the
ceasefire on March 3 night, has been postponed.

The Office of the Personal Representative of the OSCE
Chairman-in-Office addressed a corresponding letter to
the NKR Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The crisis monitoring was to take place at the NKR
Foreign Office’s request, which expressed readiness to
assist in its organization and conduct, as well as
ensure security of the OSCE Mission, the NKR MFA press
office reported.

Emil Lazarian: “I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
