Functioning of Public Transport of Capital Settles Down

FUNCTIONING OF PUBLIC TRANSPORT OF CAPITAL SETTLES DOWN

YEREVAN, MARCH 7, NOYAN TAPAN. As of March 6 the functioning of the
public transport of the capital had settled down. As Kamo Areyan, the
first Deputy Mayor of Yerevan, stated at the press conference held on
the same day, every day 180 buses, 2300 microbuses and 44 trolley-buses
(instead of former 50) on average are running.

In the words of Kamo Areyan, at present, the finantial measures
necessary for the repair of 6 trolley-buses and 8 ambulance cars
damaged in consequence of the disorders, which took place in the
capital on March 1-2, are being checked.
