Armenian President stated that the measures taken up by authorities
were adequate to the situation

Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenian President Robert Kocharian stated that
measures taken up by authorities were adequate to the situation present
in Yerevan on March 1.
As Mediamax was told in the press service of the Armenian President,
Robert Kocharian said this on March 6 during his meeting with the Head
of PACE Observation Mission John Prescott.
Armenian President stated that the authorities do everything for the
settlement of the situation and return to normal life as soon as
possible.
John Prescott noted that he considers the main way out of the present
situation the establishment of atmosphere of trust.
Mediamax notes that on March 6 John Prescott met with Ex-President of
Armenian Levon Ter-Petrosian, who noted that he fully agrees to the
provisions of EU Presidency statement and expects an adequate response
from authorities to the given statement.
