ICG CALLS ON AZERBAIJAN AND ARMENIA TO TAKE ALL MEASURES TO ELIMINATE INCIDENTS ON AF CONTACT LINE

ArmInfo. The International Crisis Group calls on Azerbaijan and Armenia
to take all the necessary measures to eliminate the incidents on AF
contact line.
"We are very much concerned about the cease-fire violation fact, which
is, probably, the greatest since 1994", Director of the Caucasian
Project of the International Crisis Group Magdalena Frichova told the
Trend News by e-mail. She said that the Crisis Group regrets about
the victims on the contact line. "We hope that the parties will avoid
recurrence of these events", she said. To recall, on March 3 night,
the Azerbaijani AF tried to capture one of the posts on the contact
line of the NKR and AR AF. The attempt failed and the status-quo was
recovered, however, there are victims from the Azerbaijani party and
wounded from both parties.
