HEIKKI TALVITIE CALLS ON ARMENIAN AUTHORITIES TO LIFT STATE OF EMERGENCY AND ENCOURAGE POLITICAL DIALOGUE

Vienna-APA. Ambassador Heikki Talvitie, the Special Envoy of the OSCE
Chairman-in-Office, called today on Armenia~Rs authorities to lift
the state of emergency as soon as possible and to encourage political
dialogue. APA reports quoting ~SArmenia Today~T website that Heikki
Talvitie said at the meeting of OSCE Permanent Council that the
solution of the crisis served the interests of Armenian government.
~SThe inauguration of the president-elect will be held soon. We need
political dialogue to find a way forward, and such a dialogue is not
possible as long as the state of emergency remains in force~T
