RA FOREIGN MINISTER MEETS WITH OSCE MINSK GROUP CO-CHAIRS IN VIENNA

YEREVAN, MARCH 14, NOYAN TAPAN. RA Foreign Minister Vardan Oskanian,
who is in Vienna on a working visit, on March 14, had a meeting with
the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs. According to the report provided
to Noyan Tapan by the RA Foreign Ministry Press and Information
Department, V. Oskanian presented the Armenian side’s anxiety in
connection with the tension on the contact-line of Nagorno Karabakh
and Azerbaijan’s armed forces.
Azerbaijan’s attempts to move the Nagorno Karabakh settlement to
other instances, in particular, the efforts to pass a resolution on
Nagorno Karabakh problem in the UN General Assembly, were discussed
during the meeting.
The interlocutors also discussed the possibilities of resuming the
negotiations, as well as a possible meeting between newly elected
RA President, Prime Minister Serge Sargsian and Azeri President
Ilham Aliyev.
