SPOKESMAN OF THE ARMENIAN PRESIDENT SURPRISED BY THE LATEST STATEMENTS OF THE U.S. DEPUTY ASSISTANT SECRETARY OF STATE

Yerevan /Mediamax/. Spokesman of the Armenian President Viktor
Soghomonian stated today that he was surprised when he got familiar
with the statements of the U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State
Matthew Bryza, made early last week after the latter left Yerevan.
Mediamax reports that, speaking at a news conference in Yerevan today,
Viktor Soghomonian stated that he is familiar with the content of the
talk of the U.S. diplomat with the Armenian President Robert Kocharian
"and could not compare it with the statements, made by Matthew Bryza
later on".
"We defend democracy from "crowdocracy", and we do not endanger the
democratic values", Viktor Soghomonian stressed.
