ARMENIA’S REPRESENTATIVES TAKE PART IN FIRST SESSION OF CSTO COORDINATION COUNCIL ON EMERGENCY SITUATIONS BEING HELD IN MOSCOW

ArmInfo. Representatives of Armenia take part in the first session
of CSTO Coordination Council on emergency situations being held in
Moscow. As the Rescue Service of Armenia told ArmInfo, deputy Director
of RSA, Major-General Aram Tananyan and Head of the Administration
for Protection of Population and Territories, Colonel Sergey Azaryan
take part in the session.
To note, the Council’s work is aimed at creation of an efficient
system of prevention and elimination of consequences of natural
and anthropogenic disasters. As CSTO Secretary General Nikolay
Bordyuzha said earlier, the series of the recent emergency situations
in Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia and Russia confirm necessity of
activating the work in CSTO format on joint prevention and elimination
of consequences of emergency situations of natural and anthropogenic
nature.
