Adoption of the resolution is a big diplomatic victory of Azerbaijan
and serious defeat of Armenia.
The due announcement was made by Sergey Markov, adviser and leading
analyst of the Kremlin, head of the Russian Institute of Political
Surveys, while commenting on the adoption of the resolution on Nagorno
Karabakh by the UN General Assembly.
He considers that Russia, the United States and France voted against
the resolution for one and the same reason-the strong Armenian Diaspora
in these countries.
"The United States and France are leaders by the influence of the
Armenian Diaspora", Markov announced.
According to him the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairing countries also did
not vote for the resolution because it is too radical.
"As the members of the Minsk Group they must work on both sides", he
said and concluded that adoption of the resolution is a big diplomatic
victory of Azerbaijan and serious defeat of Armenia.
