PARLIAMENT OF KAZAKHSTAN RATIFIED AGREEMENT WITH ARMENIA ABOUT MUTUAL TRIPS OF CITIZENS

Astana. March 20. "Kazakhstan Today" – Today on the plenary sitting the
Senate deputes passed the law "About ratification of Agreement between
the government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the government of
the Republic of Armenia about mutual trips of citizens," the Agency
correspondent reports.

Thus, the law was passed by the parliament and is sent for a signature
to the head of the state.

As it was informed before, the Agreement regulates the right of the
citizens of one state based on the documents, valid for exit abroad,
to enter, go as transit, exit and arrive on the territory of another
state without visas for a period of 90 days since the day when state
border of the state of exit was crossed.

The agreement defines the list of travel documents, approved by both
states, order of visa free exit-entrance, transit crossing of the
state borders.

The agreement was signed in Astana on November 6, 2006.
