Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenian President Robert Kocharian urged today
not to dramatize the fact that the U.S. President has not till now
congratulated the newly-elected Armenian President.
Mediamax reports that, speaking at a news conference in Yerevan today,
Robert Kocharian reminded that "I received congratulations from George
Bush on April 10 of 2003, the following day after I entered the second
presidential term".
"It did not prevent me from working efficiently in the course of the
recent 5 years and effectively developing the Armenian-U.S. relations",
the Armenian President stated.
According to Robert Kocharian, the issues of official congratulations
"depend on political estimations, the work of Ambassadors, their
reports, or personal sympathies".
