THIRD INTERNET PROVIDER IN KARABAKH

Already three companies provide internet in Stepanakert. The Ardi
Technologianer company has been set up apart from Karabakh Telecom
and Arminco NK. It became known during the session of the Regulatory
Commission of Public Services and Economic Competition. The commission
has granted a general license to the company and announced Arminco NK
to have a dominant position on the market of internet service. During
the previous session the regulatory commission had announced that
Karabakh Telecom is dominant on the market.
During the session the representative of Ardi Technologianer said
the company is likely to provide fast and quality internet. He
also underlined that the tariffs on internet are too high in
Karabakh. Apparently the company is likely to charge less than the
other companies have been charging so far.
By the way, the regulatory commission did not discuss the issue
of telephone bills. According to the chair of the commission Vache
Adamyan, the issue needs further study.
