ANNOUNCEMENTS OF 113 NGO-S

Today 113 NGO-s of Armenia extended an announcement on the inner
political life of the country. The overall message of the announcement
is presented above:

"The presidential elections held on 19 February are good opportunities
for the country to start the development. Unfortunately, the post
election period and the events of 1 March caused harm, unhappiness
and damages to the society. The political intolerance, the absence
of responsibility towards the country and people, the lack of wish to
carry out dialogue among the oppositional forces caused fatalities and
moral damages. The disruption of the nation is strengthened and the
competition filled with hate in the result of that intolerance. The
international image of the country is damages also.

To avoid the possible worst developments of the events and signifying
the society’s peace and social cooperation the following NGO-s treat
it important to carry out events which could contribute to the legal
salvation of the legal problems.

As the bodies of the civil society we offer our preparedness to
contribute to the social peace in Armenia, to the development of
the freedom of speech and pluralism, the provide public with social
justice.

We hope that the political coalition will contribute to the amendments
of the created questions in the country."
