Gas Supply Network Installation To Start In Akhalkalak And Ninotsmin

GAS SUPPLY NETWORK INSTALLATION TO START IN AKHALKALAK AND NINOTSMINDA FROM APRIL

AKHALKALAK, MARCH 26, NOYAN TAPAN – ARMENIANS TODAY. The work on
installation of gas supply networks in Akhalkalak and Ninotsminda –
Georgian regions populated by Armenians will start in April 2008 and
finish in two years. The agreement on it was signed at the department
of Akhalkalak mayor’s office between the Georgian minister of energy
Alexandre Khetaguria and the director general of Satakha company
Mkrtich Nanayan.

A. Khetaguria said that gas supply networks’ installation in
Akhalkalak and Ninotsminda will increase the number of jobs and
promote socioeconomic development of the region.

According to "A-Info" agency, the minister stated that 8 thousand
users will be supplied with natural gas by late 2008. The tariff of
gas has not been established yet.
