T. BALAYAN "WE AGREE WITH MINSK GROUP COCHAIRMEN"

The Foreign Affairs Ministry of Armenia commented on the recent message
of Azerbaijan sent to the OSCE for dissolving the Minsk Group which
is trying to regulate the NKR question. In the announcement of the
ministry’s public relations department head Tigran Balayan it is
particularly stated, "The message sent to the OSCE to dissolve the
Minsk Group was directed to it before the UN Chief Assembly voted
for the article presented by Azerbaijan. The message proves that
Azerbaijan is unwilling to regulate the NKR question through peaceful
negotiations. Another factor which again proves the above mentioned
statement is that Azerbaijan refused the meeting of the presidents
of our countries in NATO summit held in Bucharest. We agree with the
OSCE Minsk Group co-chairmen and hope that this step and Mr Agimov’s
point of view does not express the position of Azerbaijan."
