CBA RE-REGISTERS SIL INSURANCE AND GARANT-LIMENS COMPANIES

YERVAN, APRIL 1, NOYAN TAPAN. By a decision of the Central Bank
of Armenia (CBA), Sil Insurance CJSC and Garant-Limens CJSC were
re-registered.

According to the CBA press service, Sil Insurance CJSC has been
granted a licence for nonlife insurance of the following kinds:
insurance against accidents (including industrial damage and disease
caused by professional activity), insurance of overland transport
(except for railways), insurance of transported property (cargos),
insurance against fires and natural disasters, insurance against other
damage to property, insurance of responsibility proceeding from the
use of overland transport means (including cargo transporting ones),
insurance of overall responsibility (responsibility of all kinds which
are not included in the groups envisaged by points 10-12 of Article
7 of the RA Law on Insurance and Insurance Activity), insurance of
financial losses.

Garant-Limens CJSC has been granted a licence for nonlife insurance of
the following kinds: health insurance, insurance against accidents,
insurance against fire and natural disasters, insurance of other
damage to property, insurance of overland transport, insurance of
responsibility proceeding from the use of overland transport means.
