RUSSIA, ARMENIA TO SIGN AGREEMENT ON SPACE COOPERATION IN MAY

MOSCOW, March 31 (RIA Novosti) – Russia and Armenia will sign in May
an agreement on cooperation in peaceful space, the Russian Space Agency
(Roscosmos) said on Monday.
The decision was made following a meeting between Anatoly Perminov,
the head of the Russian Space Agency, and Armenia’s Manuk Vardanyan,
the chairman of the government’s real estate committee.
Armenia is interested in the use of space systems for use in geodesy
and in space navigation systems for monitoring.
